White Cheddar Spinach Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground chicken
02 - 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
03 - 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
04 - 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)
05 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - 4 burger buns
12 - Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
02 - Divide the mixture evenly and form into 4 equal-sized patties.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.
04 - Toast the burger buns in a separate pan or oven until lightly golden.
05 - Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serve hot and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Frozen spinach can be used; just ensure it is thawed and thoroughly drained to avoid excess moisture.
02 - Feel free to swap white cheddar for mozzarella, gouda, or pepper jack for different flavor profiles.
03 - These burgers can be made ahead of time. Form the patties and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before cooking.
04 - For spicier burgers, add red pepper flakes or jalapeños to the mix.
