# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
04 - Stir in the white chocolate chips evenly.
05 - Drop dough by tablespoon-sized balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
06 - Warm caramel sauce slightly if needed, then drizzle over cooled cookies. Sprinkle with sea salt if using.
