Maltesers Rocky Road (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/2 cups milk or dark chocolate, chopped
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
03 - 1/4 cup golden syrup or honey
04 - 1 1/2 cups digestive biscuits or graham crackers, crushed
05 - 1 cup mini marshmallows
06 - 1 1/2 cups Maltesers, whole and slightly crushed
07 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - Extra Maltesers and melted chocolate for topping (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate, butter, and golden syrup over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
02 - In a large bowl, combine crushed biscuits, mini marshmallows, and Maltesers. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over and stir to coat everything evenly.
03 - Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture firmly into the pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra Maltesers on top and drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired.
04 - Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crunch, add chopped nuts or pretzels to the mixture before setting.
02 - To create a festive version, mix in white chocolate chips or dried cranberries.
